There is nothing quite like a warm quality meal to keep your mind at peace and your body going. Food is very important, even more so during an expedition as you need enough calories to sustain your activity while having all the right nutrients. It is also important to bring just the right amount of food, because we don’t want to waste any food or space, nor do we want to carry any extra weight. Needless to say, fitting a month of food for two people into a 60L barrel while maximizing the amount of fresh produce is a complicated task that we will be working on during the preparation for the trip. That being said, here is our menu for the trip. Recipes will soon be available.

  • Gorp (mix of nuts and dried fruits)
